1.Integrated microwave treatment equipment for medical waste utilizes the synergistic sterilization of microwave irradiation and saturated steam. Its basic principle is to kill bacteria using the heat of steam, the thermal effect of microwaves, and the biological action of microwaves, particularly the biological sterilization effect of microwaves. Microwaves affect the electron and ion density around the bacterial cell membrane by manipulating the distribution of electrons on the bacterial membrane cross-section, thereby altering the cell membrane's permeability and killing bacteria.
2.From a biochemical perspective, the nucleic acids (RNA) and deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) used for normal bacterial growth and reproduction are coiled macromolecules tightly linked by numerous hydrogen bonds. Microwaves can cause these hydrogen bonds to loosen, break, and recombine, thus inducing genetic or chromosomal aberrations or breaks. Microwave sterilization utilizes both electromagnetic field effects and biological effects to kill microorganisms.
Equipment characteristics


1. High degree of automation: The entire machine adopts a PLC control system. The sterilization temperature and time within the microwave sterilization chamber are automatically controlled. The PLC control system manages the entire sterilization process, eliminating the need for manual intervention.
2. Medical waste is placed in standard waste bins and automatically lifted into a sealed silo. The sealed silo is linked to the lifting equipment, maintaining a slight negative pressure inside. The entire loading process is leak-free, with no medical waste or exhaust gas leakage. Hydraulic automatic control enables operation, shutdown, and sealing, reducing operator workload and preventing direct contact with medical waste.
3. The microwave sterilization chamber is constructed entirely of SUS304 stainless steel, offering pressure and corrosion resistance. Welded guide strips prevent medical waste from tangling. Integrated PLC control ensures high automation and reliability.
4. The equipment is equipped with a steam generator for one-button operation. Simply connect water and electricity to start use. It generates steam quickly and with high purity, offering convenient operation.
5. The generated exhaust gas is drawn into a waste gas treatment box by an induced draft fan. The exhaust gas treatment is simple, effective, and yields excellent results.

This integrated microwave sterilization and disinfection machine adopts a fully automatic PLC electrical control system, featuring automatic start-up and automatic material return modes (in this mode, the module automatically stops operating upon completion, saving energy). Manual mode includes buttons for: elevator up, stop, and down (with upper and lower limits); start/stop of the dual-shaft crusher, press, sterilization chamber, microwave generator, automatic discharge screw, induced draft filter, water softener, and steam generator. The touchscreen display allows real-time control of the machine's modules and their operating status. The PLC control system automatically controls the sterilization temperature and time, and monitors the entire sterilization process in real-time. The sterilization process and results meet the requirements of the "Technical Specification for Centralized Microwave Sterilization and Treatment of Medical Waste (Trial)" (HJ/T229-2021), making it an ideal device for microwave sterilization and disinfection of medical waste.
